# File sub-tab

File destination and archive settings are configured here. By default, data logs are written to local files.

**NOTE**NFS requires RPC service to be enabled (*Security :: Services*).

### Configure File Settings

  1. Enter **File Size [Kbytes]** (0=disabled, up to 2048 KB - default: 256).
  2. Enter **Number of Archives** (number of archive files before discard - default: 1, max: 9).
  3. Enter **Archive by Time [HH:MM]** (when file archive is rotated - default: blank).

  1. Enter **NFS Server** (IP address of NFS server).
  2. Enter **NFS Path** (path to NFS root directory).
  3. Enter **File Size [Kbytes]** (0=disabled, up to 2048 KB - default: 1024).
  4. Enter **Number of Archives** (number of archive files before discard - default: 10, max: 99).
  5. Enter **NFS Archive by Time [HH:MM]** (when file archive is rotated - default: blank).
4. Click **Save**.
