# Import / Export Configuration

The CLI can import the entire (or partial) Nodegrid configuration.

### Import Configuration Settings

In the Console window, enter:

```none
import_settings [arguments]
```

where arguments can be:

--file <local-pathname> (local file input) --overwrite-tables (overwrite table when its configuration is given) --quiet (suppress report of success/failure per path, just output final counters)

NOTEIn interactive mode (no --file given), the lines can be typed or copied/pasted. Enter **<ctrl>D** to finalize.

### Export Configuration Settings

In the Console window, enter:
