These Release Notes apply to the Nodegrid devices. They list the supported device models, upgrade instructions, software components information, security fixes, new and changed functionalities, and fixed issues in the hardware and software.

Upgrading Instructions
Upgrade methods from Web Interface, CLI, USB, Network Boot, and ZPE Cloud are supported.
UEFI mode and Secure Boot must be disabled before downgrading to v5.0 or older.
Upgrades from v4.x versions is only supported starting at v4.2.4.
Upgrade from v3 versions is only supported for Nodegrid Serial Console devices at v3.2.54 and will erase existing data in the /var directory.

New Features and Enhancements
General availability release including the features from 6.2.0 Beta release.
Enhanced Central Management with several improvements:
Playbooks now run in the background, making it possible to continue working without interruption.
Added advanced troubleshooting with the Ansible Debug option (-vvv).
Introduced a new Logs tab to easily view the history and details of all playbook runs.
Fixed Issues
Fixed an issue where the GSR, BSR and LSR ETH0 continued to advertise all speeds after selecting the 1G/Full link mode.
Fixed an issue where network access on ETH0 could be lost after changing certain security settings or switching profiles. Now, the device remains accessible without requiring a reboot.
Fixed an issue, on the TRACKING::DEVICES::WIRELESS MODEM page, where the signal strength displayed in the Nodegrid interface did not match the value shown by the track-signal.sh script.

New Features and Enhancements
Introducing High Availability between two Nodegrid systems, with configurable Fullsync and Live Sync options. A new tracking page and enhanced interface to monitor and manage HA sync status and activities is available.
Improved WebUI console sessions by removing the automatic copy-to-clipboard feature when selecting text.
It is now possible to select text in console sessions without it being automatically copied, avoiding unwanted content being pasted.
Updated the database of third-party APNs to improve compatibility and connectivity with a wider range of mobile networks.

Upgraded Linux Kernel to 6.12.47
Fixed Issues
Fixed issue that prevented /var partition from being cleanly unmounted at reboot, causing unnecessary journal recoveries at every boot.
Resolved an issue that prevented PXE boot from working with Secure Boot enabled. Now, devices can successfully boot over the network when Secure Boot is turned on.
Resolved an issue where CPU and system temperatures were not displayed on Bold SR models in the UI. Temperature readings now appear as expected.
Improved error messages when configuring bonding interfaces with invalid options like GSM interfaces. Users now receive clearer guidance to correct configuration issues.
