    Article summary

    File destination and archive settings are configured here. By default, data logs are written to local files.

    NOTE
    NFS requires RPC service to be enabled (Security :: Services).

    Configure File Settings

    1. Go to Auditing :: Destinations :: File
    2. On Destination drop-down, select Local (expands dialog). 
      1. Enter File Size [Kbytes] (0=disabled, up to 2048 KB - default: 256).
      2. Enter Number of Archives (number of archive files before discard - default: 1, max: 9).
      3. Enter Archive by Time [HH:MM] (when file archive is rotated - default: blank).
    3. On Destination drop-down, select NFS (expands dialog). 
      1. Enter NFS Server (IP address of NFS server).
      2. Enter NFS Path (path to NFS root directory).
      3. Enter File Size [Kbytes] (0=disabled, up to 2048 KB - default: 1024).
      4. Enter Number of Archives (number of archive files before discard - default: 10, max: 99).
      5. Enter NFS Archive by Time [HH:MM] (when file archive is rotated - default: blank).
    4. Click Save.
