Access Managed Devices via Nodegrid WebUI
Connecting directly to a specific Nodegrid device WebUI can often be more convenient. With Nodegrid acting as a terminal and proxy server, you can access all target devices without needing a direct connection to the end device.
- On the device WebUI, go to Access :: Table.
- Locate the managed device.
- Click on the managed device name. A window opens listing the options to launch the device; CONSOLE, WEB, and Manage.
- Click WEB to launch the Web session of the target device.
- Enter the device credentials to access the target device.
- Similarly to launch the console session of the target device click CONSOLE.
- You could also manage the target device by clicking the Manage option. This option is useful in cases when there are a large number of devices connected and listed on this page. Looking for a particular device and managing its configuration on a different page can be a challenging and time-consuming task otherwise.
Next Steps
Once you access the managed device, you can perform device configuration. Some examples include:
- Integrating PDU and Mapping outlet
- Managing File access to load firmware, IOS images, configuration
- Automating using Ansible and Playbook to upgrade, perform bulk configurations, and provision the device
