8. Connect to Managed Devices

Device connections are available on the Nodegrid WebUI and ZPE Cloud interface.

8.1 ZPE Cloud

Opening a session to a target device in ZPE Cloud does not require end-user access to ZPE Cloud. VPN connection is not required. Nodegrid and ZPE Cloud act as terminal and proxy servers for the session (allows full separation of the network traffic).

1. Go to DASHBOARD :: ACCESS.
2. Identify the desired target device and click WEB or CONSOLE
3. On the new window, the user authenticates against the local Nodegrid appliance.
4. The session to the target device is automatically opened.
   

8.2 Nodegrid UI

Sometimes it is more convenient to directly connect to a specific Nodegrid device's WebUI. All target devices can be accessed. No direct connection to the end device is required as Nodegrid acts as a terminal and proxy server for the connections.

1. On the device WebUI, go to Access :: Table.
2. Locate the target device.
3. Click on the available WEB or CONSOLE options
4. A new window opens with the target session
