USERS Section

Access and connected accounts are managed under the USERS tab. Users can be added, edited, and removed. 

User Types

There are three types of users:

  • Local

    • When a user registers for the first time with ZPE Cloud, the user becomes a Local user of that company.

    • If the user was added through User :: Add flow by the administrator in the primary company.

  • Remote

    • Users that are created through Single Sign On (SSO).

    • These users may only log in through SSO since they have no password defined.

  • Guest

    • When an Administrator invites a user to access a managed organization, the user is termed a Guest user.

NOTE:

When an Administrator invites a user, the following rules apply:

  • If the user is not part of any organization, they will be created as a Local user.

  • If the user is already part of an organization, they will be created as a Guest user. However, the same user will be a Local user in the first organization in which they have an account.

Permission Levels

There are three permission levels available to users.

  • Administrator - Manages all devices, company credentials, and users within the company.

  • Operator - Performs and creates operations within all devices assigned to their group

  • User -Can only access devices within their group.
